Mental Health

There’s no secret that mental health in the legal profession is not good. Lawyers have above average rates of all the bad stuff – divorce, depression, anxiety, alcoholism, suicide. You name it. Yet everywhere you look, there’s another firm trumpeting how it’s committed to mental health.

The disconnect is a bit shocking – how many professions proclaim how much they care about mental health, yet have barely scratched the surface on addressing the systemic concerns. It feels like the blame is continually placed on individuals who are suffering, rather than on the system that is broken.

In this segment, we’ll be featuring an incredible group of speakers. You’ll hear deeply personal stories that will bring you to tears. You’ll hear from lawyers who are driving incredible change to help improve mental health in the profession. And you’ll hear real solutions to address fundamental challenges in this profession.
